LiDAR Data Acquisition Services

LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is an advanced remote sensing technology that uses laser pulses to measure distances to the earth’s surface. Mounted on our drone platforms, LiDAR systems emit thousands of pulses per second and record precise return times to generate detailed 3D point clouds.

Unlike aerial imagery alone, LiDAR can penetrate vegetation and capture ground elevations beneath tree cover. This makes it ideal for terrain modeling, infrastructure planning, and large-area mapping where reliable elevation data is required.

Our drone-based LiDAR acquisition services provide:

  • High-density 3D point clouds

  • Digital Terrain Models (DTM – bare earth)

  • Digital Surface Models (DSM)

  • Contour generation

  • Classified point cloud data (ground, vegetation, structures)

  • Volumetric calculations and stockpile analysis

 

Data is collected using RTK/PPK GNSS workflows and processed to deliver accurate, georeferenced outputs suitable for engineering, planning, and GIS applications.
